  • This is an exciting opportunity, for the right candidate, to play a major role with one of the leading AOI companies in the industry. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing in the Midwest, preferably near a major hub like Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis. The Regional Sales Manager will sell our proprietary vision inspection systems directly to manufacturing companies producing plastic base film, coated and laminated films, metals and nonwovens.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Proactively seek and close new business opportunities.

    • Maintain and build relationships with existing customers within the territory by implementing a schedule of regular visits.

    • Attend industry trade shows, take association meetings and seminars to obtain sales leads.

    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction resulting in repeat orders and recommendations.

    • Coordinate with the Engineering Department to help resolve any customer issues.

    • Travel up to 60% throughout the designated territory making field sales calls.

    • Research market and potential customers, keeping an awareness of developments within the market.

    • Report activities on a weekly basis and ensure that the CRM system is updated with details of all calls and quotes/ proposals.

    • Meet regularly with the Sr. Sales and Marketing Manager to review strategy and progress.

    • Achieve agreed upon yearly and quarterly bookings goals.

    • Periodically prepare sales forecast, status reports and territory plan as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING

    • Minimum 5-10 years B2B field sales experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with negotiation and closing ability.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM programs (preferably Salesforce)

    • Travel and Physical Requirements

    • Frequent auto and air travel including overnight travel within assigned region.

    • Periodic use of hand tools and able to lift up to 50lbs to assist with demos and tradeshow set ups.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • Prior sales experience within the roll-to-roll industry for plastic film, nonwovens, paper, or metal a plus.

    • Experience selling capital equipment to industrial end users highly desirable.

    • Knowledge of the application of machine vision and/or gauging systems to rolled foods inspection and process control a big plus.

    • Experience managing and closing sales opportunities in a large multi-state territory.

    • Ability to respond quickly in competitive situations effectively differentiating our product from the competition.

    • Experience using a CRM and other databases to track activity, manipulate data and Produce reports.

    • Experience providing customer support and presentations via Teams or Zoom.

    • Development of sales strategies, proposals, and custom presentations.

    SALARY

    Starting at $80K-90K plus commission, depending on experience

  • Wintriss Engineering seeks a talented Field Service Engineer who is looking for a great opportunity to work in the rapidly growing machine vision field. The selected candidate will be working with Industrial Camera systems for Automated Optical Inspection. If you are a motivated and self-driven individual with a passion for vision systems, this is the right position for you.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Electrical and Mechanical Installation of new systems in industrial production environment

    • Complete camera setup at customer site including camera communications, focus, alignment, defect detection filter Configuration, and system networking and configuration.

    • System commissioning including software configuration and customer training for new systems in an industrial environment.

    • Test prospective customer samples in lab environment and provide cohesive reports detailing how our product will identify the cause of their quality problems.

    • Develop innovative detection solutions in the lab to expose hard to find defects in customer provided samples.

    • Review specifications for sales & trials and offer pre-sales application engineering guidance for product configuration.

    • Provide technical support to customers for systems in the field, offering guidance to improve installations and troubleshoot problematic installations/operations.

    • Up to 50% domestic travel. Some international travel may be required.

    QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING

    • Four-year technical degree a plus.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • Working knowledge of line scan cameras, optics and lenses.

    • Knowledge of computer software, hardware and peripherals.

    • Minimum of 2-years of relevant work experience.

    • Excellent working knowledge of electrical wiring, following wiring diagrams.

    • Solid understanding of working in a high-power environment (480VAC industrial power).

    • Very good mechanical skills - mechanical assembly, installation.

    • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.

    • Shows initiative in gaining technical knowledge of company products.

    • Demonstrates the ability to identify problems and write detailed reports.

    • Has strong communication skills – both written and oral (including presentations to customers).

    • Previous machine vision experience desired.

    SALARY

    Starting at $75K depending on experience and location of the candidate.
